Dr. Huang is an accredited Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon (Otorhinolaryngologist) with Singapore’s Ministry of Health, with more than 30 years of specialist experience caring for both adults and children. He provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head and neck, including hearing loss and hearing aids fitting, sinus disorders, allergies, snoring and sleep apnoea, voice disorders, dizziness (vertigo), and thyroid and salivary gland conditions.

Dr. Huang graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1984 and completed his specialist ENT training in Singapore. He obtained Fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Edinburgh) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS Glasgow) in 1990. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Australia.

Throughout his career, Dr. Huang has been recognised by both his peers and professional organisations for his clinical expertise and leadership. He served as Chairman of the Chapter of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT Surgery) under the College of Surgeons, Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He was also an elected member of the Medical Advisory Board of Gleneagles Hospital, where he chaired the Medical Quality Assurance Committee and contributed to several other hospital committees responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Huang has played an active role in advancing ENT specialist training in Singapore. He served on several Ministry of Health and Academy of Medicine committees, including the Residency Advisory Committee, helping to develop postgraduate specialist training programmes.

As a Clinical Teacher, Dr. Huang has trained and mentored many young ENT surgeons. He also served as an Examiner and Invigilator for both the Master of Medicine (MMed) Otorhinolaryngology Examination (for mid-residency surgeons) and the ENT Exit Examination, helping assess and certify ENT surgeons before they are recognised as specialists in Singapore.

Dr. Huang believes that every patient deserves clear explanations, personalised care, and evidence-based treatment. He takes time to discuss each diagnosis and the available treatment options, working closely with patients to achieve the best possible outcome while avoiding unnecessary investigations or surgery whenever appropriate.
